After graduating from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2002 with my International Master of Business Administration degree, I joined Equitable Advisors as a financial advisor and have since built a successful personal practice. I am a Sterling level producer and a lifetime Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) member. I have been recognized as an America's Top Financial Planner through the Consumers' Council of America since 2012. I was inducted into the Equitable Advisors Hall of Fame in 2020.
In June 2009, I began to lead a local team of financial professionals to grow and develop the local marketplace. My team was awarded several company recognitions, including the Runner-up team of Equitable Advisors' 2012 March Madness Sales Campaign. I also won multiple leadership awards through Equitable Advisors and GAMA, an industry organization. Two of my team members later went on to become district managers, and another became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
I was featured on the cover of January 2016 WDM (Women of Distinction Magazine) issue as its Woman of Distinction.
I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Retirement Income Certified Professional.
