Julia W. Parks

After graduating from the Darla Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina in 2002 with my International Master of Business Administration degree, I joined Equitable Advisors as a financial advisor and have since built a very successful personal practice. I am a Sterling level producer and a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). I have been recognized as an America's Top Financial Planner through Consumers' Council of America since 2012. I was inducted to the Equitable Advisors Hall of Fame in 2020.

In June 2009, I began to lead a local team of financial professionals to grow and develop the local marketplace. My team was awarded several company recognitions including the Runner-up team of Equitable Advisors' 2012 March Madness Sales Campaign. I also won multiple leadership awards through Equitable Advisors and GAMA, an industry organization. Two of my team members later went on to become district managers themselves, and another one became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.

I was featured on the cover of January 2016 issue of WDM (Women of Distinction Magazine) as its Woman of Distinction.

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Financial Consultant and a Retirement Income Certified Professional. I earned the Retirement Planning Specialist designation through Warton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania in 2008. I attended Equitable Institute at Harvard University in 2012. I studied Social Entrepreneurship at University of Oxford, Oxford, England in 2016. I created AlgorithmWay® in February 2017.

I am a New York City Marathon finisher. I live in Blythewood, South Carolina with my husband and our two sons. I am a member of Make-A-Wish foundation.
